Abstract The emergence of dye pollutants from industrial wastewater become a major environmental concern and posing significant threat to aquatic life and human health. Wastewater from several industries such as textiles, food production, fabric and leather tanning, cosmetics, paints manufacturing, paper and printing industries extensively use synthetic dyes that are highly resistant to degradation. Adsorption and photocatalytic degradation methods have eme

In the present study, cellulose and lignin with different weight ratios were mixed and pyrolyzed to prepare biochars for organic dye pollutant removal in water via Fenton-like catalysis. The results indicated that a higher cellulose content in a biomass precursor could result in a lower biochar yield with a lower carbon content in the biochar. Moreover, with the increase in cellulose content, the resulting biochar had a higher graphitization degree with higher levels of crystallinity, as well as

Abstract Currently, composite materials made from glass fiber and polymer matrix composites are highly applicable in the automotive manufacturing sector. A composite material was developed using the hand layup method, incorporating glass fiber reinforcement, epoxy as the matrix, and calcium carbonate as the filler. The output parameters were tensile strength, compressive strength, impact strength, and water absorption. The Taguchi L9 orthogonal array was used t

Abstract All Energy conservation and environmental protection are increasingly concerned by the automotive industry. Lightweight vehicles are one of the effective ways to achieve energy conservation and environmental protection. As an important method in plastic processing, the microcellular foam injection molding process can further meet the requirements of lightweight vehicles while meeting the performance requirements of the parts. However, a large number of bubbles exist on th
Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) has become a research hotspot in the field of automotive lightweight due to its high specific strength, low density and excellent energy absorption characteristics. Driven by the global “dual carbon” goal, vehicle lightweight has become the core path to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions. In recent years, high-end models at home and abroad have achieved significant weight reduction through innovative design, while improving crash safety and endu
In recent years, pet owners have been making significant efforts to ensure the well-being of their animals. One straightforward approach to enhance their welfare involves greater attention to nutrition. Consequently, pet owners have become increasingly sensitive regarding the food they provide for their pets. The aim of this study is to examine this sensitivity by investigating the extent to which cat and dog owners prioritize quality attributes and ingredients when selecting pet food. For this

Objective: This study aimed to analyze the compound content of the combined extracts of Langusei fruit (Ficus minahassae L.) and papaya latex (Carica papaya L.) and perform bioassays of the combination of extracts on fleas of the genus Ctenocephalides. Materials and Methods: Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) determined the chemical composition of the combined extract. The toxicity of the extract combination was evaluated in vivo on cat flea and dog flea imago separately.
